Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and Implementing Lessons:
    • Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans based on early childhood education curriculum.
    • Integrate play-based learning, storytelling, music, art, and physical activities.
    • Teach basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and early literacy.
  2. Creating a Positive Learning Environment:
    • Establish a welcoming, inclusive, and safe classroom.
    • Use positive behavior management techniques.
    • Ensure a clean and child-friendly space with learning materials accessible.
  3. Supporting Child Development:
    • Promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
    • Observe and assess each child’s progress and developmental milestones.
    • Identify and support children with special needs or learning challenges.
  4. Classroom Management:
    • Maintain order and routine while allowing flexibility for creativity.
    • Supervise children to ensure safety and engagement in activities.
    • Teach children routines like washing hands, eating etiquette, and sharing.
  5. Communication with Parents:
    • Keep parents informed of their child’s progress and any concerns.
    • Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share development reports.
    • Offer guidance on how parents can support learning at home.
  6. Record-Keeping and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, progress, and incidents.
    • Prepare regular progress reports and development portfolios.
  7. Professional Development:
    • Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings.
    • Stay updated on early childhood education best practices and policies.
